The role of the HWLP Trustees is to ensure that statutory and any other relevant and appropriate policies and procedures are in place and are followed.  There are a number of policies that encompass all schools within our Trust which can be found below. Whilst all HWLP schools are required to publish statutory policies, these policies may not be common to all schools.  The the detail of policies may vary from school to school and individual schools may choose to adopt non-statutory policies to address specific areas of their activity. In these instances, the HWLP, through its Scheme of Delegation, has delegated the responsibility for the publication and oversight of school specific policies to the relevant Local Governing Body.  Each Local Governing Body is, therefore, accountable to the Trustees for the proper execution of certain policies and procedures and the resolution of any matters arising from them.
